πŸ• Market Hours & Seasonal Notes

Ben Thanh Market's standing hours, which do not change with the event calendar: the day market runs 06:00-18:00, and the night market - the street-food and souvenir side - runs from 18:00 to about 22:00-23:00.

Tet is a February event, not a January one. The Nguyen Hue Tet Flower Street, a short walk from the market, opened on 15 February 2026 and ran until 22 February, for Tet Nguyen Dan on 17 February. January visitors saw the run-up, not the display itself.

January 2026 carried one Vietnamese public holiday - New Year's Day on 1 January - with 2 January a public-sector holiday.
